Fire Dept Visit

In honor of October being Fire Safety Month, we were thrilled to welcome the Ada and Halstad Fire Departments to our school for a special school-wide assembly. The firefighters brought their enthusiasm and expertise to educate our students about essential fire safety practices and the importance of being prepared in case of an emergency.

During the assembly, the firefighters shared vital information about fire prevention, including tips on how to stay safe at home and the importance of having a family emergency plan. They engaged students with interactive demonstrations, helping them understand the role of smoke detectors, the significance of having an escape route, and how to respond if a fire occurs.

In addition to fire safety education, the firefighters also spoke about various careers in fire departments, highlighting the different roles within the team and what it takes to become a firefighter. This discussion sparked interest among students and provided valuable insight into the rewarding careers in public service and safety.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ada and Halstad Fire Departments for volunteering their time and efforts to put on such an informative and engaging learning morning for our students. Their commitment to community safety and education is truly commendable, and we appreciate the positive impact they have on our school.

Thank you for helping our students become more knowledgeable about fire safety and inspiring future generations to consider careers in firefighting!
