As the school year comes to a close, the Ada-Borup-West Elementary community is gearing up to celebrate a significant milestone: the 5th Grade Graduation. Scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd, at 2:00 PM, this event promises to be a memorable occasion filled with music, farewells, and fond memories.
One of the highlights of the graduation ceremony will be the enchanting performances by the 5th grade band and choir. Under the guidance of dedicated music instructors, Mrs. Blotsky and Mrs. Kemper, and through months of practice, these young musicians have honed their talents and are ready to showcase their skills to family, friends, and teachers.
In addition to the musical performances, the ceremony will feature heartfelt farewell words from Mrs. Altepeter and Mr. Ruebke, beloved figures in the lives of the graduating 5th graders. Their guidance, support, and mentorship have played an integral role in shaping the academic and personal growth of these students throughout their elementary school journey. As they bid adieu to their elementary years and prepare to embark on the next chapter of their academic lives, Mrs. Altepeter and Mr. Ruebke will share words of encouragement, wisdom, and reflection with the graduating class.
Following their speeches, there will be closing remarks from School Principal, Bree Triplett. Principal Triplett will offer her congratulations to the graduates and express her pride in their accomplishments. She will also share her hopes and aspirations for their future success as they transition to middle school and beyond.
The graduation ceremony will take place in the Auditorium, providing a fitting setting for this momentous occasion. Following the ceremony, a short reception will be held in the Commons, where students and parents can gather to celebrate further. Cupcakes and lemonade will be served, offering a sweet treat as a symbol of the joyous festivities.
Parents, family members, teachers, and the entire school community are invited to join in celebrating the accomplishments of the 5th-grade class of Ada-Borup-West Elementary. Let us come together to applaud their achievements, wish them well on their future endeavors, and celebrate the bright futures that await them.
