Elementary Principal / District Assessment Coordinator – Ada-Borup Public Schools

Responsibilities:
The Elementary Principal is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all preK through Grade 5 educational aspects.  This individual supervises staff and assists in conducting staff development activities.  The principal will provide instructional leadership for 23 licensed and 18 non-licensed staff.  The individual will facilitate data-driven decisions to meet the needs of all learners.  The principal collaborates with the leadership team to establish budget and spending goals.  This vacancy is for an elementary school which will serve approximately 280 students.  The Elementary Principal also serves as District Assessment Coordinator and manages statewide testing procedures for the K-12 district.  
 
Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed in Minnesota as an Elementary School Principal [preference may be given for candidates with a K-12 Principal license].  Applicants must provide evidence of an excellent record of past professional performance applicable to performing the duties of the position, a minimum of three years teaching experience in an elementary school, and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Successful candidates must also demonstrate excellent human relations skills in a variety of professional settings, including conflict resolution with youth and adults, small and large group facilitation skills, and demonstrated leadership capability.
 
Position Available:
This position begins no later than August 1, 2018
 
Compensation:
This is a 220 duty day position.  Salary commensurate with experience and includes a competitive fringe benefit package.
