ADA-BORUP ELEMENTARY
DAILY BULLETIN

1.    Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Participants from last Thursday:  Gunnar Wall, Callie Solseng, Megan Melby,  Livi Kinkade, Austin Dryden, Grant Kuball, Jacobi Stuller, Julia Miller, Caleb Stoltman, Izabella Mosher, Maxwell Fjeld and to our Elementary Spelling Bee Champ Elias Traut!
Round 4 District Spelling Bee will be at 9:00 am. in the H.S. Auditorium on Tuesday, January 23rd.

2.    Happy Birthday to Cindy Peterson!

3.    Treating the adults in school with respect is our Cougar Focus for this week.

4.    Cougar Pack after school today, tomorrow and Thursday.

5.    Quarter 2 Report Cards will go home with students Tuesday, January 23rd.

6.    Milk reminder notes will go home Wednesday this week with students that do not have a current 3rd quarter milk pass; grades 1-5 need $13.00 and kindergarten $4.00.  We will continue using the 2ndquarter list through Friday, February 2nd and begin the 3rd quarter list on Monday, February 5th

7.    Hot Lunch today will be Sweet & Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Fortune Cookie, Fruit Choice
Soup/Sandwich – Chicken Wild Rice Soup/Beef Sandwich

8.    School will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24th; teachers have inservice.
This is the third one of five that were scheduled; the next one is set for March 21st.

9.     The Ada-Borup Booster Club Directors are looking for volunteers to work a two hour shift either in the concession stand or collecting money at the door during our upcoming tournaments. We are also looking for individuals to donate pans of non-bake bars for tournament concessions both weekends.
The boys (grades 4-6) tournament is on Saturday, February 3rd and the girls (grades 4-6) is on Saturday, February 10th. The available shifts are as follows:
7:30-9:30 (concessions or ticket taking)
9:30-11:30 (concessions or ticket taking)
11:30-1:30 (concessions or ticket taking)
1:30-3:30 (concessions)
3:30-5:30 (concessions)
If you are able to help, or if you have a family member that could help us fill our shifts, please email or text Barb Kesselberg at 4bakessel@loretel.net or 218-474-1091 with your preferred shift time.  If you are unable to work a shift, but would be willing to donate a pan of non-bake bars, let me know!  Barbara Kesselberg
